It has not really been so bad for me to be totally honest. I miss the swarms of pretty girls and my buddies, but that is not so bad. I found a girl while I was working and she seems to be sort of rich. I ended up sort of working her, or this old guy my dad knows worked for her. He is retired, but if you pay him cash he will happily do HVAC installation in NYC. I really should modify that statement, because he seems not to be overly interested in working all of the time and that is why it works for him and I. If he was out there every day hunting for a dollar, then he would need some guy who had less on his plate than I do. I still have to do my school work and I am taking a pretty tough schedule of classes right now. I have math and computer science courses that require a lot of my attention and I really need to do well in all of my classes.
At any rate this girl is a few years older than me and I think that the old guy is her fourth cousin or something like that. We did a couple of jobs for her and one day I realized that I might want to pay a bit of attention to her. She was not making it exactly clear that she wanted this, but of course they rarely do. At any rate I went out with her and got a slice at this place that I know. We drank a couple of beers and walked around her neighborhood for awhile. I did not think I was making progress for awhile, but she decided I was. I sort of think I am just a distraction to be honest and that is fine.
